Fn Key On Asus Eee Pc?

I’ve been searching around and I can’t seem to find any drivers for the laptop keyboard on the Asus Eee PC (904HA), and was curious if anyone knew where to get drivers that would enable the the Function Keys, or if there were any utilities available that would do it.
I’ve already tried the Asus websites hot key utility, and it didn’t do a thing, so I’m hoping someone else has figured it out.

  1. This worked for me. Here is a link to the site that contains the correct driver. (its the only one on the page) It works for all Eee PC’s with function keys.

Once I installed the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) Driver, all the function keys came to life!
For some reason ASUS took this off there site and put up a “Better” power management utility that has the drivers in it but it crashes at start up.
I hope that could help you

  2. The FN key is right next to the “any key” LOL

  3. Have you downloaded the ATK Hotkey driver? It came with my driver disc so maybe you could install it from there.
