I Have An Asus Eee Pc 901 With Windows Xp Without An External Cd/ Dvd Drive.?

I know call of duty one and gta san andreas work on it. I have a tower comp and I am going to backup the pc games using daemon tools lite (right?). Then I put the .iso file on a flash drive, into the eeepc and just double click it? Am I good to go?

  1. 3D games like that will run poorely on an eeepc. Current netbooks are good for Internet, flash games, old games, email, word processing, etc.

  2. no, an iso is an archive which needs to be extracted/written/burned to a cd. a better choice it to either get an external drive or burn it to a cd then copy all the files (be sure you can see hidden files during copy) to a flash drive.
however, i beleive you won’t be happy w/ the results because ot the capabilties of any netbook on the market these days.

  3. If I’m not mistaken you can have an ISO image on a virtual drive say from Nero and run the game from that… I did that years ago not sure if you need a physical optical drive.
