Is The Asus Eee Pc Any Good?
I’m not looking for much. I already have a personal desktop computer but I need something portable for writing, viewing e-mail, and preferably the ability to view short videos.
I came across the ASUS Eee at Target today and couldn’t believe it was so cheap. I actually thought it was some type of gag computer. I can’t actually afford much over the $350 mark so (from what I’ve researched and the reviews I’ve seen) the Eee seems ideal.
Any thoughts?
Well, the computer is very under powered. It’s tiny which makes it awkward to use, but it also makes it lightweight a super portable. It does not have an optical drive so no CDs or DVDs without an external DVD drive. It’s descent for very basic applications and web browsing so it might suit your needs perfectly.
