Is The Macbook Pro And The Apple Powerbook Mac Book Pro The Same?
I want to know because someone is trying to sell me the Apple Powerbook MacBook Pro to me but I want to know if its the same thing as a MacBook Pro. I know it seems silly but I want to know why they put the word PowerBook in it. Thank you
No, they don’t even make Powerbooks anymore. They are obsolete. Don’t buy it. Keep holding out for the Macbook Pro.
Hi,
The only difference between the two is that the powerbook is a older model which means it has a different processor than the macbook. The powerbook has a power PC processor that’s why Apple called it the “Powerbook”. As for the macbook, it has an Intel core 2 duo processor which is a little more quick than the Powerbook. Apple calls it the “Macbook” simply because they want to get the mac brand in all their laptop products.
