Should I Get An Apple Macbook Or A Windows Notebook? Why?
I’m planning on getting on getting a laptop soon, but I just don’t know if I should get a Windows notebook or an Apple MacBook. Please tell me why and also compare them for me. Thanks!

I would choose a Mac. There is less software available for it than for XP, but that is of little consequence to many users. For me, the Mac has a better operating system, is less prone to virus and other malware attacks, has a UNIX operating system under the GUI, is more reliable and is built better than the average PC.
I have seen the inside of newer Macs…better looking, cleaner and more professional than most PCs I’ve looked into. Since I’ve been doing this kind of thing since the ’80s, I’ve been especially impressed by the newest Macs. Also, you can run Linux on them in a dual-boot very easily, which gives you the best of the UNIX-like world on one machine.

Windows people will tell you to get the Windows because you have more choices with programs. That is corect. You will have 20 choices of a program, while you may only have 5 choices on the Mac. However, you only need one.
Mac is better known for graphics. If that is what you are interested in, go for the Mac with plenty of RAM.
I like the Mac better. The MacOS is more user friendly. Windows OS always has to copy the previous MacOS, ever since the first Windows OS came out.
If you want to buy a little more than the MacBook, try the MacBook Pro. You can run Windows or MacOS by choosing the option key during startup. You can have the best of both worlds.
get a mac because all new windows have vista and vista has alot of things that need to be done with it still like a lot of software that is not compatible with it and some USB drivers and stuff i say go with mac its simple to use and everything is good to go no waiting for software upgrades every other minute….(my opinion) i work with both
If you are using in it for normal things like, surfing the net, doing assignments, listening to music, watching movies, MAC is a good choice.
But if you are planning to go for gaming or using some professional softwares like engineering programs, accounting programs, then Windows is better choice.
If you are going to use lots of those stuff it’s better if you go with Xp than Vista, cause many software aren’t compatible with Vista yet.
Overall I say it’s better if you get a Windows, cause there is nothing that you can’t do with windows, while MAC has certain limits. Also MAC start at higher price than Windows notebooks.
Many would say that you should try MAC because now days you can run Windows on MAC, specially MAC Pro, but why do you need to run Windows on MAC anyway?! when windows does it with out a need for MAC. Also Windows is still more common than MAC, so if there are any difficulties with windows, help is not far away!
you could get someone to make a custom one for you costing a whole lot less, or just use the amount you were willing to spend by making this custom one more powerful.
the truth of the matter is… you should buy whichever one runs the software you’re currently familiar with… If you’re currently a windows user, then you should buy a windows system… if you’re currently a mac user, you should get a mac. They’re not the same… and truthfully having to learn a new operating system (especially if you’re not highly computer literate) will be a HUGE pain in the… well you know. Macs aren’t the be all end all of the computer world… yes they’re “cool” and currently very trendy… but the fact that ~95% of the world’s computer run Windows tells us that in fact, Macs aren’t for everyone
There are more applications available for Windows than for Apple. This is the only advantage of owning a Windows machine.
