Hey everyone. I’ll be attending my first year of college this upcoming fall, and I need a little help in picking a laptop. I’ve never bought a laptop before so I’m not really sure what to look for in the specs. However, I have some interest in the netbooks because they’re light and simple. I want one that’s fast with a lot of memory and that’s durable. Both the Lenovo S10 and Asus eee pc 1000he seem to be very good netbooks, but which of the two do you think is better? Also, do you think netbooks are suitable for college students or would you recommend a regular notebook? Thanks for your help

im trying to decide between the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE and the samsung nc10, but im leaning a little toward the asus because of the price and i hear its a little faster. i dont really know too much about asus. is this a good netbook? or should i get the samsung?

Mod Wii Without Chip

I live in the US and this computer seems like a great deal. However, I’d like to test it out in person to see how I really like it before I buy it, and I have no idea where to find them. Apparently Best Buy isn’t selling the 1000HE, but just a 1000HEB, which is not as good. I would much rather buy it from a store rather than a website. But where??
Oh, and I’m nowhere near a CompUSA.

Can you buy it at best buy or circuit city or something like that or can you only get it off the Internet

I love to listen to music on my PC, I don’t really play games but the notebooks out there are all so expensive. How I can choose wisely and have the (almost) flawless notebook/netbook out there?
The laptop (or whichever name you wish to call) must have good battery life, fast processor, don’t heat up quickly and all that a laptop must have.

I need a decent, portable netbook for schoolwork and web browsing (basic tasks)

I decided to buy a netbook so I can do work on the go a 10 inch screen is perfect I dont want it bigger or smaller.
Is the Asus Eee Pc 1000HE good for the buck? I can get it at my local shop 536$ Canadian.

I just bought it last Sunday and it is amazing…
It has 9.5 hours battery life.Every time I charge it 5 hours and it only last 7 hours?/
