I love gadgets. I am dependent on them, and if I find something I like then I feel a huge need to go and buy immediately see.
Are you looking for a PC magazine recently I came across the EeePC by Asus – looking at the pictures I saw something I had wanted for some time. A small portable PC, a cheap price tag, seemingly designed specifically for the Internet, on the top.
The EeePC is pronounced e-PC – you must rest for three easy steps – easy to learn, easy to use and easy to play. I think the original idea was something more accessible to many people, including students and families.
As for me, it was clear the device for portability. 225 x 165 x 21 mm measurement is small compared to all other laptops. Has a solid state drive, is quite robust in the fact you can knock it, and bang, no damage to it. Three hours of battery life and size makes it very portable cell phone charger.
Of course, as with any relatively new gadget, the demand is high and get my hands on it was pretty difficult. They come in different colors. My preference is black, and I think it was the same for most people, as has been sold out. In the end I decided to blue.
After pressing the power button, the wait time is minimal. I would say that about 20 to 30 seconds. It 'funny how the car is quiet to boot. You kind of expect to hear that the hard drives spin and the fan goes. A look at the 7-inch screen is surprisingly easy, although I think it might be annoying depending on what you want to achieve. However, so far only for MSN, e-mail and surf the Internet, it is absolutely fine.
More surprising is the keyboard. Of course it is relatively small, but it is easy to type. I think that after you put a small amount of adaptation should be relatively simple. OK, you do not want to give a full-length novel about her, but e-mail, blogs, short articles, etc. – absolutely fine.
Although it is difficult to think of this little device so that this machine is a fully functional PC. This means that it can not and does not change the fact that one to a regular PC. It comes with a Linux system on it. Source is open and then with a few minor changes, there are literally thousands of free applications that will run on it. The main screen is too obvious, so go around the icons, such as "Internet Messenger" or "e-mail" or " 'so really not a technician, your way around the scroll work. That said, if the machine is powerful enough to run XP, you will be required.
With built-in Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet is easy. A webcam, microphone and speakers to allow easy communication. They also have USB ports and a flash memory slot allows for additional 32GB of space on the 4GB included within the machine. To me, this means I can take the car and take in places not connected to a wireless network, I can connect using my 3G data card. This means that I can be on the Internet, without somewhere, what we now consider that a bulky item like a laptop. This is also suitable in the glove compartment of your car or purse!
While the opening of the EeePC invalidate the warranty – the system is expandable. There are many changes or updates that you can do for your Eeepc unique and super fast. Because the software is open source, can be changed virtually everything you need.
I think this car will be a great success and pave the way for true mobile computing. I just paid € 250 (about $ 500) for the 4GB model. It 'was a 2 GB model for 200 pounds and have voices that Asus has done, so that the speakers of a model of larger screen to appear in a short relocate heard.
