I’ve had this laptop for under a month, and every time I’ve gone to open Photo Booth, my camera has worked just fine. But now when I open it, it’s just a black screen. The green light next to the camera is on, which I thought meant the camera itself was on, but apparently not. I got Skype just recently, and tried using it for the first time, and the camera wouldn’t work there either. Any suggestions on how this problem could be resolved would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. One doesn’t need a CD for iTunes.
Why would you want to switch to Windows just to use iTunes, though? Linux has dozens of programs that are as good as or better than iTunes.
As to memory: I think you are confusing RAM with hard drive space. In any case, XP requires 1.5 GB (of hard drive space) just for itself. Minimum RAM is 64 MB, so you should have no problems there.
