Other than size and memory, what is the difference between an EEE PC and a laptop? Why would I buy an EEE PC and not a laptop? Does it have special internet advantages? Does it work in places that a laptop wouldn’t? Would it work overseas in countries like Bangladesh?
I am thinking of buying one for my son for his upcoming birthday, but want to learn more before I buy.
Also, where do I buy one in Toronto? Is The Source the only place that sells this? Is ASUS the only brand of this product?
This apple macbook:http://www.apple.com/uk/macbook/
has a built in wireless network thingy, but in order to go on the internet, does this mean I don’t need an Internet Service Provider just to get a connection?
I just moved to Korea (Yangdong, Gyeonggi-do province), and I am trying to connect to the internet. No one knows anything about Macs here since everyone uses windows. Please help me! They told me I am unable to connect because I have a Mac, but that can’t be true, can it?
I know I could have worded that better.
My family has never used Macs; we use PCs. I was wondering if the wireless router we have now will work for the Macbook I am thinking about getting.
The router is made by Microsoft.
