I want to order one for use with my music software because my current 17 is not big enough for the kind of editing I do but with this monitor there are 2 horizontal black margins on the top and bottom of the screen. If I set the screen to another resolution so they disappear the screen looks wierd.
I want to not make the mistake of buying the bigger screen for nothing. I really like using my macbook with xp. It is stable and I get the best of both worlds but if I wont be able to use a big apple monitor with it then then I will have to search for a another powerful laptop that I can connect a big monitor to.

can I use my apple macbook as a monitor for my playstation 3? if yes, where can i buy the connector for it? help me. thx
I am running on Windows XP by the way.
Horizontal black bar/space on top and bottom of my monitor which is connected to my apple macbook why?
Its like if I go into control panel and modify the settings to make it fit the resolution will look wierd and task bar will be all big etc. I can only get the screen to look normal when the black bars there.
Is there a way I can get the screen/browser windows to fill up the whole monitor and still have everything look normal?
I’ve got my eee pc with xp all connected up, but, all that shows on my monitor is my wallpaper (a very nice vista grass on, actually)! I think maybe I’ve done somthing wrong!
And if you can fix it, how can you close it without it going on standby.
