i just got a white eee pc laptop and i havent even opened it yet. i was just wondering if it came with a built in webcam. it was given to me as a gift so i dont know if it said anything about having one or not.

i just got an Asus EEE PC 900HD (with Windows XP) with a built in webcam, but it doesn’t come with any camera software pre-downloaded, so i downloaded Yawcam to use the camera through, but it does a LOT more than i need… i just want a basic, simple program that will allow me to take still pictures and also do videos. i’ve scoured the internet and haven’t been able to find ANYTHING to download that has what i need! it’s driving me crazy! so does anyone have any suggestions for a (free!) “beginner’s” webcam application? I bought my new Asus EEE PC what seems to be the 900 yesterday, and my mom had allowed me to open it and make sure it was the one I wanted. At the top of the laptop, you could clearly see the webcam, but there was a solid piece of plastic covering it and the plastic would not come off. Does this laptop have a webcam or not?

i have recently changed my os on my 4gb eee pc to xp. how can i get my built in webcam to work so i can use it on msn? i presume i will have to find drivers but i cant find them? any ideas?

i have a apple macbook (white) and i really want to be able to take photo’s using the inbuilt webcam on photobooth or something but to have the desired photo of me taken in graffiti. so i will take a photo of myself and it will come out in graffiti. does anyone know any software or anything i can download to do this?

I need to know the advantage and disadvantage of apple macbook webcam. can anyone tell me some site to look the full technical specification abt apple OS and how to operate that. I am new to apple and I am not fully utilising the features..

I activated it in the BIOS menu, and it works, but when i try it use it it says ther’e a ‘bad link connection’ between the webcam and the messenger client. I’m using the latest version of mercury for LINUX. Help anyone?

Is it anyway possible to download any other versions? I am using Linux. I need to use my webcam next weekend to connect to my husband as he will be away for a trip and wants to see me and the kids often. Thanks. If you know of any web based site that allows it, I would highly appreciate it. Thanks
