Why Won’t The Camera On My Apple Macbook Not Work, Even Though The Green Light Is On?
I’ve had this laptop for under a month, and every time I’ve gone to open Photo Booth, my camera has worked just fine. But now when I open it, it’s just a black screen. The green light next to the camera is on, which I thought meant the camera itself was on, but apparently not. I got Skype just recently, and tried using it for the first time, and the camera wouldn’t work there either. Any suggestions on how this problem could be resolved would be greatly appreciated.
i have the same problem at times. if my photobooth is open i wont be able use any other programs that have webcam options. for example like skype or yahoo. close one of the programs and try it, if all else fails just restart your mac. if that still doesnt work. just call mac customer support yours should still be covered since you just got it..
